Meet the Trenchmate team: Garry Grewal

If you’re one of our customers, you’ve probably had truck driver Garry Grewal roll on to you site at some point in the last three years. We asked him a few questions to get to know him better (and yes, that’s a built-in seat he’s sitting on!):

Q: What do you enjoy about your job?
A: Facing different tasks every day – loading and unloading in tight sites and improving my skills. I also get to enjoy some amazing North Island views out of my office window.

Q: Tell us about your immaculate truck…
A: It’s all about professionalism and passion. My truck is like my second home, and I don’t like driving it dirty. We never park up dirty after the day’s work – we wash it daily. And one rule: NO DIRTY BOOTS INSIDE THE CAB.

Q: What's your favourite lunch, snack, or drink?
A: I mostly eat Indian food and like a caramel latte. I don’t drink energy drinks but I love a chilled beer after work.

Q: What will we find you doing outside of work?
A: I enjoy travelling, but most of the time I’m at home with my family. I’m married and have a 3-year-old son who is obsessed with trucks – most of his toys are trucks!
